Searching For Miss St. Lucia Universe

There is no doubt that the most beautiful women in the world can be found in the Caribbean. And, there is no question that the majority of them reside right here in St. Lucia.
You don’t believe me? Then you should feast your eyes on these beauties. Last week Saturday we had the opportunity to meet the representatives of this year’s Miss Universe St. Lucia Pageant.
The contestants include Cherissa Albertine, Natasha John, Lynnell Esnard, Joy-Ann Biscette, Jamilla Lansiquot, Solange Lenihan, Katrina Scheper and Patrice Lionel were hand picked by J.L. Casting at their recently held auditions.

This year the international leg of the Miss Universe show will be held in Brazil in September. Mexican model, Ximena Navarrete is the current holder of the Miss Universe Crown.
Organizers of the St. Lucia leg have promised that several activities will be held to further promote the show and the young ladies and a schedule of events will be available to the public at a later date.
Each Saturday, leading up to the pageant date on Saturday June 5th 2011 at the National Cultural Centre, we will be featuring each contestant and learning a little bit more about them.
