Diaries
Of A Dream Queen
I
don’t know how to start. I know it’s
the Christmas season and all that but seriously!
I just can’t find the perfect way too
start!!! Grrr!! Can’t have a perfect
start again I guess…since I started
off already…*sigh* Wanted to start off
with “Merry Christmas!!” in Santa’s
voice but that sounds like it should be the
ending of the article and not the beginning
and to me it sounded pretty lame. #NotCool!
Well…what can I say? It’s already
the ending of 2011. Seems like yesterday it
all began and it’s ending already. Time
sure flies! Before you know it, 2012 will
be here and gone. Well you know what they
say “Time waits for no man.” I
think everyone can agree to that. This year
for me can best be defined as “challenging.”
I’ve been through my ups and downs,
highs and lows like everybody else. Sometimes
you just feel like giving up. Seriously, there
are times when things seem like it’s
too much and you just want to take off that
heavy load on your back and never look back.
But guess what? Whenever something seems the
most challenging, that’s when YOU SHOULD
NOT GIVE UP. If you give up, you’ve
failed but if you keep fighting, it makes
you stronger, it makes you a winner. I believe
that God allows us to go to various situations
to test our faith. Sometimes you ask “Why
me?” “What did I do to deserve
this?” Sometimes you may say “No
one knows what I’m going through.”
Or “I always get the worst!” Actually,
that statement is totally untrue. There are
people who wish they had what we had. Whenever
you feel like you can’t stand something
again, just stop for a minute. Stop everything
completely, and breathe. It’s okay to
cry because crying can sometimes make you
feel better. When you feel like you can’t
go on, pray, talk to someone about it and
always talk to “The man upstairs.”
God will be there for you when no one else
is and also remember that you should talk
to God at all times and not just in your time
of trouble.

Some
of us also need to remember that, some of
us just take, take, take, but we never give.
Every year at Christmas, it is usually emphasized
that “It is better to give than to receive.”
Or “Sharing is caring.” Christmas
is round the corner, give someone something
this Christmas. A homeless person, your less
fortunate neighbours. Try to give when you
have. Be kind to people on your way up, because
you just might need them on your way down.
And hey, don’t be nice just because
it’s Christmas and forget about it after
the holidays. You know what? Here’s
a challenge for you. Get a notepad, so that
you can evaluate yourself; start on New Years
Eve. In that note pad write “Things
that I need to change” and “Things
that will help me grow positively.”
“Groups that I need to join so that
I can grow positively.” “Things
that I need to do to improve my grades”
and so fourth. In that notepad, write down
all the things you need to change and things
that will help you grow. You can call it “My
evaluation pad.” Or you can always give
it your own name. Design the cover with stickers
and stuff, make it fun! And on New Years next
year If God’s willing, you will evaluate
yourself to realize how much you’ve
grown. I will do just the same. This is something
that will assist you with self growth. Maybe
you thought I would talk more about Ham and
stuff and be my usual, easy going self but
this weekend, that’s what came to mind.
Take care! Stay Beautiful! Enjoy the holidays!
Be good! Until Next year if God’s willing…Rae
Anthony! “Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!”
