ME RED – The Return

I’m
sure with all the shows (wet fete, cooler
fete), the sounds of soca and calypso music
burning the airwaves almost 24 hours a day,
parties and competitions going on, we can
safely say that we are in the season where
we forget about fighting class, all segregation
is terminated and people don’t seem
to care too much about jumping and waving
in a hot sun for six or more hours straight,
in costumes representing their favorite bands.
Yes!
We are in the Carnival season and all of what
was previously mentioned and more form a major
part of our carnival celebrations. So with
that said revelers and Soca lovers are you
ready for the biggest Colour Me Red show?
The commercial says it has been seven years
in the making, and no doubt RED revelers are
patiently waiting for July 13th.
On
Wednesday July 13, 2005 the Beausejour Cricket
Stadium will be the new home for Colour Me
Red as Red Unlimited and Radio Caribbean International
present, Colour Me Red- The Return. The event
will feature straight out of Trinidad and
Tobago, Soca phenomenon and winner of the
2011 International Power Soca Monarch competition,
Machel Montano and his entire band. Yes, everyone
from Patrice to Zan to Father Nappy, to the
dancers, will be taking advantage of our stage

the years Colour Me Red has featured the best

and Destra Garcia known for hits such as Fly,
Bonnie and Clyde and It’s Carnival,

Performing
alongside Machel Montano HD will be the best
of the best from St. Lucia, The Penn Empire,

For Dem), Teddyson John (Out & Bad), Sirlancealot(Soca
Riot) and Power Soca Monarch D.J. HP(Dance

early will be RED D.J.s Levi Chin, Iwa and
Hyper D.
The
show is just one of the many put on by Red
Unlimited Carnival Band and Radio Caribbean
International for this carnival season and
it has been promised to be one for the ages
- so bring your red rag and red flag and colour
yourself red and, get set to colour the place
red!!!!! Wednesday July 13th Beausejour Cricket
