Diaries
of a dream Queen
I
never participated in pageantry but amazingly
I landed the job as queen! I would love to
share my story with you. Well, here I go,
I begin my story; chapter one of my life as
a dream queen.
You
know how we always tend to discriminate against
people sometimes? This is quite insignificant
and if the tables were turned, we would not
like it one bit. I want to be an inspiration
to people, I want to be a motivator, a survivor,
a champion; I want to be so many things. I
would one day like to fulfill my dream of
becoming a supermodel, like Anna Novoselova.
I would also like to pursue my dream of becoming
a best seller novelist; I absolutely adore
the whole reading and writing thing. I would
like to speak about the issue of discrimination
against fat girls. Some girls with weight
issues who are reading this article may be
saying “what does she know about weight
issues? She’s so skinny!”
In
truth I am skinny; the question may pop, “were
you fat before?” No, I was never fat
but that does not mean I am lacking knowledge
about discrimination. I decided that I would
like to verbally defend girls experiencing
weight problems and girls with low self esteem,
when I started watching high school movies.
I enjoy watching high school movies; you know,
the whole boy meets girl and falls in love
and break up and make up idea, and the stuck
up cheerleader, the insecure girl, the girls
who fear the cheerleaders and want to be like
them, etcetera. I was a cheerleader in school
myself. It’s nice to be involved socially
and to have a passion for something. High
school movies usually bring across a positive
message, tending to be very funny but truth
is this is reality.

If
you are overweight, have low self esteem or
you are used to people bullying you, you need
to do something about it. Before you can even
do that, your first step is to admit there
is a problem. If you can’t admit, then
you will never be successful. Well I can’t
completely reveal how I did become the dream
queen in just only the first chapter now,
can I? I’ll leave you to your imagination;
for the while. In order for you to find out,
you need to keep reading every weekend. Girls
and boys, young men and women, next weekend
if God’s willing, I will introduce you
to something called “Pretty Moments!”
and yes, I invented it! I would like to encourage
everyone experiencing a typical teenage problem
out there, to be strong and stay beautiful,
because you are. If you’re a girl and
you’re reading this, you might want
to try listening to Taylor Swift. This is
one of the most positive celebrities and she
is your typical girl next door, with problems
just like you and me. Next weekend I’ll
be back here hopefully, with more to offer!
You can email me personally: raeanthony_5@hotmail.com.
Until then, have a wow weekend! (I think the
word great is a cliché, I’m just
that girl who believes she has to be different
and stand out positively!)
Signed
with love: Rae Anthony/ Barbii Doll!
