The Most Creative Fete

There are some carnival fetes that the majority of our readers wished they could attend but due to their age it was impossible. Cooler Lime is one of them and for good reason. You cannot have people under the legal drinking age at an event where the drinks of choice contain alcohol.

Now since you couldn’t make it to Cooler Lime, we will bring it to you!

The most creative LIME for this year’s carnival had to have been Just 4 Fun’s Cooler Lime. The event has grown significantly over the years giving patrons incentives for coming up with creative coolers.

This year we saw coolers made from the craziest sources. Beds, Cement mixers, Car Trunks, and the list goes on and on. Just 4 Fun presented COOLER LIME under the theme “The Search 4 Soca” on Saturday June 18 at Samaans Park in Choc.

By night fall, the venue was loaded with patrons who were all primed and ready to take on anything the host, Pringles, was ready to throw at them and boy did he. The group of artistes to set the crowd in a frenzy included Sir Lancealot, Sedale, Superman H.D, Ilsa Man, Scady Dot P, Toya, Teddyson John, D.J. HP and Ricky T among others.

Like we said earlier cooler fete was definitely one of the most creative LIMEs for this year’s Carnival and we can’t wait to see what they will do next year. One thing we appreciated about Cooler Lime was that not one person under the legal drinking age was present at the event. Good looking out guys!
