Rae Anthony - Introduction

Hi Saint Lucia! I know there are some avid readers who are wondering “who’s this new face?” I am 18 year old Rae Anthony better known as Barbii (with two I’s and not an E, so if you’re wondering it’s not a mistake), also known as Yazzy/ Yasmine. I simply adore reading and writing and I could not have found a better job! Apart from the aforementioned two, I love listening to music, writing my own and of course singing. I love to dance as well so obviously you know I will be a part of the carnival season once I’m alive and well! I reside in the community of Babonneau and I intend to pursue the field of literature in the near future. I attended the Babonneau Secondary School where my love for the English Language was well known and I successfully attained a Grade One in the subject, which proved my passion for the subject.

I am also a model; former model of the C-Definition modeling agency and current member of the True Appeal Fashion World of Artistic Models Agency right here in Saint Lucia. I am an animal lover: Cats and dogs to be more specific. (Dogs: preferably Poodles and Chihuahuas! I like to dress them up, you know the famous Paris Hilton Style!) I love working with young people and I like socializing and would like to join a few clubs but I have no idea where to start. (I need some assistance here). I intend to commit my time and give nothing but my best to this magazine and contribute positively. I would like to get to know the writers and readers and feel that personal connection. I am honoured to be working with people like you and I will assist in making our youth grow positively in the best way that I can with the knowledge that I already have and of course I will learn more from you, from others and also from my mistakes as I start my journey here at the Yo!
