Diaries Of A Dream Queen

Peeps! I’m sooooo excited to write to ya’ll this weekend! Whoop! Whoop! I’m in a fantastic mood! Why? Well one, I’m alive. That’s one reason to be thankful. Two, I have all my five senses. Three, I’m blessed with a great job. Four, I have an amazing family and I could go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, until forever ends. “Lol.” I’m just saying that sometimes, we complain so much! (I do it all the time! “Lol.” Hey, I’m only human. I’m not “Miss Perfect.” I’m just Rae.) Getting back to the point, sometimes we complain so much when in fact; we should be giving God thanks for the many things we are blessed with. There are so many people who wish they had what some of us had! Just sit and think about it! So, instead of saying “I don’t have long hair..” “I wish I was white..” “Why aren’t my eyes green?” “I wish I was black..” “I wish I was Chinese..” “I wish we lived in a bigger house!” “I wish….” “I wish….” “I wish…” Stop for a second and listen to yourself. What are the things you are blessed with? Aren’t you thankful for that too? So anytime you’re about to complain, try thinking of all the things you are blessed with, and give thanks instead. I’m trying that myself. It can be challenging. Old habits die hard! *Rolling eyes dramatically.* *Exasperated sigh.* “Lol.” But, you’ll get there.

Another reason I’m happy is the fact that Yo! Magazine created a TWITTTER ACCOUNT!!! And I’m LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! I LOVE Twitter just as much as I LOVE Facebook. Gosh! You get addicted to those social networks! Am I right about that? You don’t even need to answer because I already know the majority of you will say yes. I’m online every single day of my life. The minute the internet is down….feels like my whole life is over! I’m such a drama queen about it! Lol. And I start accusing the companies responsible for these things of all kinds of things! Lol! (No hard feelings guys! It’s just that when your net starts tripping, we start tripping too!) Anyway, like I was saying we created a Twitter account and gosh! Our followers are amazing! ‘Btw’! ya’ll remember what Monday is right??? *drum roll…….* Elections! Elections! Elections! So I’m encouraging all to go out and vote! ? Have a crime free weekend guys! According to Sir Lancealot… “Like a candle…..I’m out!” Lol…I just wanted to say that!
