Diaries Of A Dream Queen

“Omg.” I love John Legend. <3 The best thing about him is, he has this amazing voice and his lyrics, are pretty great too! I also love rap music and rock. I know some of you are like “rap’s cool but rock? Huh?” You see the thing about me is I love music, all genres. Trust me, I think I like all genres of music. I’m just that fun kind of girl. I’ll dance Country and Western (I love it!) I love Pop, American Country, Blues, Jazz (I love Amy Winehouse! I will surely miss her.), Blues…whatever it is, try me. I love artistes like Kenny Rogers, George Jones, Taylor Swift…I just love music. I appreciate good music. I will “boogey” to Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson’s music any day!! *Singing* “Bille Jean is not my girl…..” “Lol” ya’ll know that song by my M.J. right? I mean M.J’s a legend. Admit it, you listen to him. Getting back to my point, you might think my listening to rock music is weird, but I love it because it’s deep. D-e-e-p. Man! I get cold when I listen to the lyrics of some of my fav. Rock bands. (Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, 30 seconds to Mars,Green Day, Paramore…I also love Staind, Coldplay and I can go on and on and on!) What I’m trying to say is, I appreciate people’s abilities to make use of metaphors, similes, pun (oh man! Pun and Sarcasm just has to be my favourite things!) The definition of Pun: “A play upon words.” I guess this all comes with me being a writer.

I like artistes who have the ability to reach out to people through their lyrics. Honestly I had no intentions of coming here this weekend and start talking about music, but I started listening to J.L. and look at me now! *Singing* “Look at me now..I’m getting paper!” Haha. I’m so crazy! Busta’s part on this song is “ca-ra-zeeeee!!” I tried to sing his verse but failed miserably and ended up gasping for breath. “Lol!” Oh! Btw! Happy New Year to all of you!!
