Dear Helpline,

I seem to be finding love in the wrong places. I’ve had several bad relationships and I can’t seem to find any good guy at all. They just come and go. Please help.

Dear Sera,

Perhaps, you need to stop searching for guys at this time; it is a good thing that you want a good guy, but at the same time, we just can’t get what we want whenever we want it, at all times. There are times, that we get the best of the best when we least expect. When it comes to dealing with situations like men, you need to approach it a little differently. If you don’t get a guy right now, it is assured that it won’t be the end of the world. You need to focus on you right now; if you always wanted to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or what-not, now is the time to do it. Occupy yourself, get motivated, start a new project. Yes, there are times you will get lonely and will long for someone to just be with you; but remember it is always better to just wait sometimes. Like they say, “patience is a virtue” and “good things come to those who wait.” Who knows? You just might meet the love of your life in your Business class or whatever else you decide to pursue. You never know. You don’t have to search all the time, sometimes it just comes to you. There are times you will get frustrated with waiting but remember, patience is a virtue and when you find that individual who makes you smile, you will surely tell them “I’m so glad I waited for you.”
