Dear
Helpline,
My best friend
and I are in love with the same man. The problem
is our moto is "sharing is caring.""
We have been sharing and caring for the past
two years. Now is the time for one of us to
let go. But he treats us the same way 'with
love "respect, understanding and his
honesty" so it’s difficult for
us to make a decision. I have him in the day
and my friend has him in the night. We have
no complains what so ever. However one of
us must let go. I know at some point it will
not be ok for neither of us..So what must
we do??
We are desperately awaiting your advise.
Yours
truly,
Sharing Is Caring
Dear
Sharing is Caring
A relationship
is meant to be between two. Two people to
make it work, and love each other. A relationship
cannot survive with three parties. Sometimes
it feels impossible to find someone who's
right for you — and who thinks you're
right for him. Trust and honesty, as we know,
are crucial factors in any relationship. Mutual
trust is founded in respect and loyalty toward
each other. A truly emotionally, intimate
relationship requires open and honest communication.
How can you trust someone who is "in
love" with your best friend? If he can
be with your best friend, doesn't that mean
he can be with someone else too? What will
happen if he chooses you and sleeps with your
best friend behind your back? Is it worth
ruining your friendship? Best Friends are
very special people in your life. They are
the first people you think about when you
make plans. They are the first people you
go to when you need someone to talk to. You
will phone them up just to talk about nothing,
or the most important things in your life.
When you’re sad they will try their
hardest to cheer you up. They give the best
hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to
cry on, because you know that they truly care
about you. Is it worth losing your friend?
Men come and go but best friends are there
to stay, don't let a guy come between your
friendship. You may come to regret it in the
long run and it will be too late.
I think both of you know what you must do
and it is to let go.
