Dear Helpline,

There is this guy I am really in love with but he has no feelings for me I need to find a way to try to get over him. I need help. PLEASE.

Dear Anonymous,

First of all, you stated that this guy has no feelings for you. Why would you want to depress yourself over a guy who has absolutely no feelings for you? I know many of us are victims to this situation at times, but sit and actually think about it. Why would you want to hurt yourself like that? Whilst you are probably crying over this guy every night or what not, he’s probably out there having a good time. Some quicker ways to get over this is to actually sit and think of exactly what you are worth. Do you know how many guys out there who would actually want the chance to love you? I’m sure you’re beautiful girl/woman, don’t underestimate your worth. You can start new projects, go out with friends and things of that sort, but don’t sit and get depressed over this. It’s not worth it. All the best! (If you’re 16 or younger however, you need to take it slow, do just as advised, but make sure you focus on school and don’t let things like relationships get in the way.)
