Wind
And Rain
After
a sunny, warm afternoon,
Would you have thought of such Reckage?
In the blink of an eye, it all changed to
tears.
Dreams were sagged, Lives buried in mud and
water.
The violent winds like hungry dogs had a voice,
Accompanied by non stoppable rain,
Swelling the soil into sinking sand.
This was the night that furniture swarm,
Seas swell, and rivers cried uncontrollable.
A night reserved for the festival of violent
winds and rain.
Walking through the cloudless morning,
Among the rubble floors,
I was shocked at what seemed to be a lie to
me.
Roads and homes tiled with ceramic mud!
Plantations disappeared in thin air!
People robbed of the light of day!
There just now seemed to be too much of nothing
here.
I conclude that the rebirth is a Humpty Bumpty
Story.
