BRING IT!!
Countdown to ICC World T20

From April
30 to May 16 the Caribbean will host the ICC
World Twenty20 and officials in St. Lucia
are leaving no stone unturned as the momentum
is mounting for the blockbuster cricket event”.
They recently took to the schools promoting
the “Bring It Campaign” under
the theme “Bring the Children”.
Schools visited so far include Gros Islet
Secondary School, Vieux Fort Comprehensive
Secondary, and the Babonneau Secondary School.
Students including the schools cricketer were
involved in various activities such as “Bring
the dance” a crafty and fun challenge
where students performed a dance to the tournament
song “Bring It” by Faye Ann Lyons
and Mr. Vegas, “Bring the noise”,
and “Bring the cricketers.” Up
next is the Bus Tour to Vieux Fort on April
7th and a live performance by Mr. Vegas and
Fay-Ann Lyons Alvrez singers of the tournament
song “Bring It at the Gros Islet Friday
Jam on April 9th. Look out for more updates
on the bus tour and news on the biggest sporting
event to hit St. Lucia-the ICC World Twenty
20. Our first match is on May 1st Afghanistan
v India at the Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet,
St Lucia.
