Should you accept it?
May 01st 2010

Is it okay to accept money or gifts from someone who is not your girlfriend/boyfriend?

Karina: Why not? If the person’s giving it with no strings or ropes or lend-doo’s attached, then I would just say thanks much and I move on. I’d gladly accept.

Charms: Well as long as you tell your partner so the person don’t throw it back in your face and try and tell your woman or man on you......therefore you one step ahead.

Nancy: Well if it’s just a real platonic friendship/relationship I don’t see why not. You two can give and receive from each other, but if it’s a prospective sex fling and you already can’t see where it may lead to then don’t, unless you don’t mind getting into paying back with love, sex or kindness. Because trust me, sometimes in such a case the giver might very well have ULTERIOR MOTIVES. So it’s up to you. For me personally, I don’t believe in accepting money, gifts or tokens especially from any man I’m not with unless I know what they want from me in return.

Samantha: It depends on who gives you the gift and how your partner feels about it. I mean I wouldn't accept gifts from a guy I just met but I would from a close friend. Especially if it's for my birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas etc. You dig?

Marcus: I normally wouldn't, but if the person has been close to me for a long time, I guess so. If it's just some regular girl, I’d say, ‘hell no’ because you could have a case of fatal attraction there. lol

You've heard what these people have to say. What do u think? Post your opinion below!!
