What about inner beauty?
April 24th 2010

Do you think looks are secondary when seeking a companion? Many people place much emphasis on outer beauty but does it really matter, when you discover that the exterior of this person looks great but there is no substance inside. We took to the streets to find out what some of you guys thought:

Clifton: I don’t know but once the girl is nice and we link well, that’s that..

Junior: Yeah, it can’t be primary because if it’s primary then I would be looking for beauty first in a relationship and not personality, which I think should be the first priority.

Craig: She has to stimulate me intellectually/mentally first, looks come second. Although, I maybe saying this because there are so many beautiful women in St. Lucia that I’m not worried to find an ugly one.

Katiea: Well not necessarily, but men do think that beauty is most important..

Steven: It’s primary, well most times. There must be an attraction but for it to be otherwise you would have to encounter that person ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL.

Earl: That's a tricky question, but I think (truthfully) that it's primary at first, and when you get to know the person it becomes secondary (in most cases). Naturally you're attracted to what is generally considered beautiful.

Johann: Well not gorgeous...just pleasant. I mean, seriously no man or woman would go for a pitch black women unless that's his taste.

Miguel: Eventually it becomes secondary but initially there has to be physical attraction. Unless, the relationship comes as a result of an existing friendship but then again to each his own.

You've heard what these people have to say. What do u think? Post your opinion below!!
