Can you love two people at once?

I overheard one day two young ladies discussing whether it was possible for a guy to love two girls at once. Apparently one of the young girls was in a relationship with a guy who is in a serious relationship with another girl. Though she didn’t seem to mind the situation at all, her girlfriend tried her best to discourage her. This had me thinking because this is something quite common in our society, despite the efforts made to heighten the awareness of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. So we took to the streets to find out what some of you guys thought:

   
 

Bryan: Of course a man can love two girls at the same time. Once he can take care of them and make time for them both I see nothing wrong with that.

Kimberly: I don’t think so. I would discourage her too. He’s just going to use her because she doesn’t mind. He would never have respect for her trust me, he’ll just be in it for what he can get and she will be too blind to see it.

Harris: That guy is lucky. Wish that was me. If she doesn’t mind it, I don’t see why I should. Who knows how things may work out.

Gabriel: I don’t blame him. She knows what she’s stepping into. I’d go with it till it’s played out. Cause eventually one must leave or sometimes both, I’d tell him enjoy it while it lasts.

Sherry-Anne: Sometimes a girl can’t really control who she loves. I can’t judge her but she needs to protect herself from being hurt, because these kind of situations always result in someone getting hurt.

Theckla: So many men out there, this guy can’t find one of her own and leave the woman man alone. I don’t like them things. I wouldn’t want something like that happening to me either.
